In this lesson, you will learn a few basic phrases in Chinese, their Chinese characters, numbers, history, and pinyin.

- History and background of China
- Recognize Chinese characters for basic sentences
- Speak common phrases used in everyday language in Chinese
- Understand the history and basics of pinyin
- Learn to count from 0 to 10 in Chinese
