Card Initiative

October 2020 - Present

In celebration of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Interns 4-Good launched a new initiative to spread hope, strength, and love to breast cancer patients and survivors. Volunteers with our organization were given the opportunity to create meaningful and supportive cards for such individuals. Their inspiring work was then distributed across the United States through our partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a transformational nonprofit organization leading the fight against this dangerous disease.

Tablets 4-Good

September 2020 - Present

Leveraging a grant from Points of Light and our membership with TechSoup, Interns 4-Good is purchasing refurbished tablets for over 100 elementary and middle school students, enabling these children to fully participate in virtual learning. Moreover, all students that receive tablets through this initiative are matched with Interns 4-Good tutors for free homework help and academic support.

While our efforts have already benefitted numerous children, there are still thousands of disadvantaged students who need our help. Join us in our mission to create equitable learning opportunities by donating to our cause and sharing the flyer below!

Tech Support

August 2020 - Present

Interns 4-Good has developed a robust tech support service to aid teachers in the challenging transition to virtual learning and help them provide their students with the highest quality learning experience possible. Our tech-savvy volunteers are ready, willing, and able to assist with any technology-related issue from trouble navigating a virtual conferencing platform to difficulty uploading lesson materials to the internet.

To request tech support, simply fill out the brief form below. You will be asked to provide some general information, including your name, contact information, and availability. Once we have received your support request, we will connect you with a skilled and passionate volunteer as soon as possible.

BLM Initiative

October 2020 - December 2020

Interns 4-Good mobilized our vast network of interns in the critical battle for racial equality. Our youth artists helped raise awareness for the Black Lives Matter movement. Their powerful and inspiring work honored prominent civil rights leaders, called attention to the deep racial divides permeating American society, and urged community members to step up and do their part. Hundreds of our interns also signed up for volunteer opportunities at BLM partner organizations, including Off the Sidelines, Home Stretch, United Way, and Gideon's Promise.

Labor Day Initiative

August 2020 - September 2020

In honor of Labor Day, our organization celebrated the many essential workers who have put their health on the line to keep our communities running in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our more artistically-minded members created stunning pieces of artwork honoring the hard-work, determination, and selflessness of these heroes. Other volunteers conducted interviews with essential workers around the globe to gain insight into the immense challenges they face on a daily basis and the sacrifices they have made for the good of society. Both the artwork and interviews were proudly displayed on our website and shared across our social media accounts.

I4G Summer Camp

July 2020 - August 2020

In the midst of the pandemic, children everywhere were longing for the structure and interaction offered by traditional summer programs. Unfortunately, the majority of these opportunities had been canceled for the season in an effort to curb the rising infection rate. Recognizing this problem, our team founded a free virtual summer program that mimicked the small group atmosphere of traditional day camps. Every day, campers covered a broad range of curriculum presented by talented high school volunteers and engaged in a balanced mix of online and offline learning activities. The entire program was carefully monitored to ensure the safety and well-being of all those involved.
